The Rough is a golf culture store.

Golf has been around long enough to build a culture of its own. Clothes, characters, rituals, places, objects and ideas about how things should be done.

We like a lot of it.

We like where golf comes from. But we are just as interested in where it is going.

The Rough brings those two things together.

A thirty-year-old sweater can sit next to something made yesterday. A worn-in golf bag can be more interesting than a new one. A new brand can make us look at golf differently.

Used or new is not what decides whether something belongs here. What matters is that there is something about it.

Clothes are part of it. So are bags, books, objects, people, places and the little things that happen around the game.

Some of them we sell. Some of them we just think are worth talking about.

The rough is where you're not supposed to be. It is also where you occasionally find something better than the ball you were looking for.

We liked that idea.
